Hospice Care in Southern Colorado

Sangre de Cristo Hospice was founded in the mid 1970’s when a small group of care givers working at the State Hospital in Pueblo chose to be a part of this new idea of health care called hospice. Later that group moved into the cities hospitals, and in 1984 became a free standing entity. Since that time Sangre de Cristo Hospice has grown to service more than 1000 patients per year in 6 counties of Southern Colorado with offices in Pueblo, Canon City and Walsenburg.

We are here to serve you. As a non-profit hospice provider, we turn no one away regardless of their ability to pay.

Our staff of caring Doctors, Nurses, CNA’s Chaplains and Family Support Professionals can be there to assist your family 24 hours a day 7 days a week to stand beside you and help your family through this difficult time.

Don’t hesitate to contact us to ask questions and find out just what we can do to help. We understand the difficulty of the conversation and can help guide you to a peaceful quality of life for you and your loved ones.
