Kids Can Cure Fun Run at the 14th Annual LA Cancer Challenge. Benefits the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
When:
Halloween weekend, Sunday, October 30, 2011
Time:
KidsCanCure Fun Run starts at 10:15 am
Where:
On the Veterans Adminstration Grounds in West L.A.
Who:
Children 13 and under will run in age divisions (4 and under, 5-7 yrs, 8-10 yrs, 11-13 yrs.)
Why:
Because children can make a difference in the fight against cancer.
Cost:
$15.00 Registration fee, includes gift bag and t-shirt.
NOTE: Children under the age of 13 who wish to run the 5 or 10K AND be CHIP TIMED should register for the 5/10K, not the Kids Can Cure Fun Run.
Other:
Halloween Kid Zone opens at 7 a.m. with arts & crafts, pumpkin decorating, moon bounce, snacks and children's costume parade. Pumpkin Pancake Breakfast is $5.00. Free bagels, fruit, juice and water will be available.
