Grant Park where East Randolph meets Lake Michigan
The Michael Rolfe Pancreatic Cancer Foundation and The Lustgarten Foundation have joined forces in effort to develop an early detection test, and ultimately, find a cure for pancreatic cancer.

This year, the DASH FOR DETECTION will be held in association with The Lustgarten Foundation’s annual Pancreatic Cancer Research Walk, making this an even bigger and better event.
Our MC will be Rob Stafford, News Anchor, NBC Chicago
Our Warm-Up Coach will be Saran Dunmore, Fitness Expert, NBC Chicago
Pre-Registration Fee: $35 (Walkers/Runners)
Pre-Registration Fee: $20 (Walkers/Runners-14 and under)
On-Site Registration Fee: $5 additional
Registration: 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
Run begins at 10:00 a.m., walk starts immediately after.

PACK PICKUP LOCATIONS AND TIMES
All pre-registered runners and walkers can pick up their chip, bib number, and t-shirt prior to June 4th.   Locations and times for packet pickup are:
Thursday, June 2 – 12:00 Noon – 6:00 p.m.

DASH FOR DETECTION is a 5K certified chip-timed Run and Walk (only runners will be chip-timed) starting and ending in Grant Park where East Randolph meets Lake Michigan. Participants will walk and run the same route along Chicago’s spectacular lakefront. All routes are handicap and stroller accessible; leashed dogs are permitted at the park.
